Jim Arremony- President
Jim attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and finished his
degree at the University of Florida. Jim was a one man operation over 30 years
ago and now heads up over 60 employees across 2 companies. Midstates Home Solutions and The Neat Painters are both growing and successful due to his
leadership and his desire to earn the respect and loyalty of customers, as well
as employees. Jim is involved in the firm’s day-to-day activities and
personally oversees the management team. Jim makes it a point to attend the
Daytona 500 every year as well as being a die hard Miami Dolphin fan. |

Lora Newsom- Executive Vice President
Lora studied accounting at Central Michigan University. Lora plays an active
role with every facet of both Midstates Home Solutions and The Neat Painters.
Lora is responsible for overseeing, jointly with the firm's president, all
aspects of the firm's management including: personnel; infrastructure, mission,
objective, and budgeting. She also oversees the day to day operations of all
financial, legal, and personnel decisions. Lora sees the importance of staying
involved with the many jobs and claims. Lora prides herself as being a rabid
Detroit Pistons fan. |
Jason T. Ryan- Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Jason earned a degree in Communication from Oakland University. Jason is
responsible for developing new business and strategy for growth and expansion.
Jason is directly responsible for all of the advertising, marketing, and public
relations for Midstates Home Solutions. Before joining Midstates Home Solutions, Jason spent over a year at Opticore as National Sales Manager. He also
spent over six years of his young professional career as a Senior Account
Manager for Palace Sports and Entertainment. Jason is an active member of the
Clarkston Chamber of Commerce and takes great pride in playing an active role
in the life of Pontiac youth. Jason is a huge NBA fan and has attended over 30
games per season for the last 6 years. In his free time he wake boards and does
stand up comedy. |

Amy Shea- Insurance Coordinator
Amy plays the important role of relaying all necessary information between the
estimators, homeowners, insurance agents and adjusters, and the field staff.
Amy is a great example of someone that sees the importance of being flexible so
a project can run smoothly and successfully. She is tasked with importing all
of our estimates into our software. Amy is an active member in the Clarkston
Chamber of Commerce, as well as the assistant coach for her son’s Tee Ball
team. |
Misty McKenzie- Accounting Manager
Misty came to us fresh out of high school. She has exceeded our expectations
since her arrival and proven to be very dependable. Her dependability has been
put to use as she assists our Executive Vice President as well as handling
accounts payable. Customers constantly comment on how pleasant it is to deal
with Misty’s sweet nature. Misty’s favorite days in the office are those when
we send out for Dairy Queen. |

Karen Wilson- Director of Human Resources
Karen has been with us since day one. Karen is responsible for all employee
benefits, worker’s compensation insurance, and is the final stop before any
proposal goes out. Karen assists the President and does whatever necessary to
keep him from being overwhelmed. Her phone rings many times a day to help out
the team in the field for countless tasks. The entire staff often enjoys the
baked goods Karen brings in. |
Melodie Arremony- Administrative Assistant
Melodie is the first face you see when you visit and the first voice you hear
when you call. Melodie does a great job of setting a positive first impression.
Not only does she never leave a phone call unanswered, she also assists the
office staff with job costing, mailings, and other various tasks and projects.
Melodie is addicted to reading and is also honing her own writing craft. |

Denise Rush- Payroll Manager
Denise is the newest member of the Midstates team. She dove right in to her job
and our family. She is responsible for cutting all employee checks in
accordance with their salary and hours. Denise drives a full size Dodge Ram,
rides horses, and enjoys anything and everything having to do with the
outdoors, making her the rugged type. |
Shawn Kiesler - Field Supervisor
Shawn worked for Midwest Restoration Professionals in Indianapolis for 5 years
before he moved north and joined us. Shawn has been trained through IICRC in a
wide range of restoration classes including: Water, Fire, and Storm
Restoration. Shawn's responsibilities range from getting his own hands dirty in
the field to customer relations and overseeing jobs. In his free time Shawn
enjoys SCUBA diving, fishing, and relaxing at his cabin.

Woody Mahan - Field Supervisor
Before joining our team, Woody worked with sheet metal and automotive
innovation for 9 years. Woody started with us as a Field Runner and earned his
way to Field Supervisor. Woody works alongside the guys in the field,
supervises the jobs, and does all of the estimates for Mold Remediation. Woody
maintains his love for cars - and works on them in his spare time.
